Choose Empowerment is a self-defense platform and methodology that empowers people in real life situations. The platform functions like an EventBrite for Empowerment Self-Defense (ESD) classes, connecting students with certified instructors and enabling a global movement. Since launching, Choose has trained over 30 instructors in Costa Rica and Central America, reaching thousands of students through direct-to-consumer programming. The platform partners with established organizations in the Empowerment Self-Defense movement, global hotel chains, and institutions to expand the audience for ESD and create new opportunities for instructors.
