The Muhammad Islamic Center of Greater Hartford (MICGH) is Connecticut’s first and oldest indigenous Islamic Center, founded in 1955. Chosen by the late Honorable Elijah Muhammad and coordinated by Al-Hajj Malik Shabazz (Malcolm X), the center has served the Islamic and greater Hartford communities for over six decades. This redesign features a modern WordPress site built on a custom Astra-based child theme, providing an accessible platform for the center’s mission to nurture spiritual growth, foster interfaith relationships, and contribute positively to the community.
