Somebody created a NON-app app to listen to college radio. I am so so so happy and thankful for this so I want to rep it here. In this world where everything is a data-capturing robot, attempting to keep itself alive by aggregating your information and bothering you with reasons to convince you that it is good, this web app stands out.
It does none of that. It doesn’t care who you are, doesn’t need you to “switch” to it or make it the default on your device, and it promotes college stations who are unmoved by most metrics that the capitalist world find so scintillating, rather just do their art of playing whatever the DJ selects.
Begin finding new music. Broaden your horizons. Let go of control. Stop letting the algorithm tell you what you need.

tips: you can click the options button and “add to home screen”
nerd perspective: love that it’s a progressive web app, lightweight, limited so-as-to-let-you-choose, around 600k, Netlify cached, respects privacy
